Ryan is a teenage lion in the New York City Zoo who, after playing with some other animals, accidentally ends up in a crate headed for Africa. His dad Samson and his zoo pals witness this and the motley crew – a dim-witted anaconda, a smart but dysfunctional giraffe and a Koala who’s sick of being “cute” - must pool their limited resources to rescue their friend.
