CUBE
Maurice Dean Wint, Nicole DeBoer, Nicky Guadangi, David Hewlett
Trimark Pictures; Directed by Vincenzo Natali
Rated R; 90 minutes; 1998
In this futuristic thriller, six people wake from their ordinary daily lives and find they are imprisoned in a giant deadly maze. Slowly, they discover that each holds a key to unlocking this diabolical puzzle. But as a mathematical formula for escape begins to reveal itself, the enemy rises from within themselves and survival is threatened by the same human weaknesses that created the CUBE. Physically and psychologically, the screenwriters have fashioned a real Rubik's Cube of a story.
